There are over 35 million Hispanics in the United States as reported by the 2000 U.S. Census.

The 1990 Census, the most current census information regarding language-capability and usage, reports that there are over 14 million people who say they primarily speak Spanish at home in the U.S.. This indicates that the preferred language most comfortable for them, is Spanish. Therefore, it is very clear that just as English-speaking people would prefer to watch a movie in English, Spanish-speaking people would enjoy  HEARING the movie in Spanish.

A research report by Tomas Rivera Policy Institute found that Hispanic families are more likely to attend movies than English-speaking families. Hispanic families are also larger with more children than English-speaking families.
